Not only do they feature the whole ad but they have a glossary to explain the more idiosyncratic language used in the ad. To wit: “to sod (vlg) – used when subject is annoyed about something or to show that they do not care”; “lentil mob (vlg) – a type of bean combined with a group of people who are similar in a way”.

The very idea of groups of German students getting homework on the subject of Sir Montgomery Cecil and his rabid outpourings gives us a warm glow.

Forget Design Week or Creative Review – this is the kind of thing that makes it all worth it.

Sir Montgomery Cecil, the aviation legend and iconoclastic hero of the anti-aviation lobby, is back - this time, on the front page of The Daily Telegraph. The advertisement originally conceived for billboard hoardings has now been put into print.

Heathrow Express passengers in for a surprise

Anyone taking a train out of Paddington, especially those merry Heathrow Express travellers, will be in for a wee surprise from Monday.

Provokateur is proud to unveil Sir Montgomery Cecil, Chairman of Spurt Aviation, in full billboard glory, proclaiming : Screw Global Warming – Let’s Fly!

With the Climate Bill announced this week, and with international aviation EXCLUDED from Britain’s CO2 emission targets, you could just as well put Gordon Brown in the picture instead of Sir Monty.

Talking of which, be sure to check out the Independent on Tuesday. Readers are promised a pre-Budget warmer to remind the Iron Chancellor that talking the talk on climate change is not enough. Watch this space.

Across double page spreads in The Times, Independent and Daily Telegraph, the now legendary Sir Montgomery Cecil takes the stage again, advancing his own inimitable case for flying. This time, however, he is faced by a feisty penguin, equally determined to explain, “from one flightless species to another”, just how flying could be the death of us.

Yup – it’s another Enough’s Enough spectacular. It’s so exciting to be working with an organisation who has the energy and passion to really get their campaigns out there. This is the biggest campaign issue there is, and Enough’s Enough is one of the few organisations trying to take the bull by the horns and really get the debate moving. Today, aviation. Tomorrow, the world. Great stuff! Hope you like.

Monty Rides Again – Provokateur delivers national press campaign

Sir Montgomery Cecil, and his aviation organisation SPURT, was launched upon the world in September with a grand splash. Sir Monty was created for Enough’s Enough as the new anti-hero of the green movement and generated massive coverage.

This time he’s back in four ads in the national press, offering his endorsement for Gordon Brown. Under the slogan “Why go green when you can have Brown”, Sir Monty has again gone down a storm, written up in the following day’s Independent.

This is campaigning with a twist – and Enough’s Enough is one of those rare organisations with the imagination and balls to do things differently. No doubt it won’t be too long before we see Sir Monty again.
