Part three(ish) in a non-going cyan period, Provokateur have just created a 68page print brochure for the (deep breath–) 'European Microfinance Network' as part of the European Year for Combating Poverty and Social Exclusion (and… relax. Phew).

The EMN was set up in 2003 to support the development of microfinancing organisations across Europe. As of May 2010 they have 87 members across 21 countries. The print brochure highlighted the work of the EMN in a collection of real-life testimonials from 28 men and women, all of whom had somehow had to overcome financial and/or social exclusion thanks to their local micro-credit organisation.

The brochure was printed in France in 5 colours (CMYK plus Silver spot) on PEFC accredited material. The outcome has thus far proved very positive and we look forward to more trans-european conference calls with one of our new favourite clients.

Provokateur has been working with Car Plus, Transport for London and individual car club operators to create a brand and marketing campaign for this genuinely great enterprise.

Car clubs give people all the benefits of owning a car, without, well, owning it. As the strapline says, it’s pay-as-you-go cars, with cars only 5 or ten minutes away. The brand is appearing on road signs, is bieng used and promoted by local authorities and will be shared by indidual car club operators.

If ever there was an idea to demonstrate how much smarter green living can be, this is it. Just the kind of client we love.

With the branding done, Provokateur did the marketing campaign, currently appearing on buses, billboards and online. Visit www.carclubs.org.uk and drop us a line if you’d like to find out more.

Here's a sneak preview of the work we're doing for a new ethical jewellery brand. Danaya provides conflict-free diamonds, environmentally friendly gold and ethical jewellery.

As a start up, Provokateur came up with the name Danaya, created their brand and are working on everything from their website to their packaging.

We’re also working closely with them on their marketing and communications strategy, helping get Danaya out into the world and into our lives.

It’s just the kind of client we love. Creative. Innovative. Different. And it’s great to create an ethical brand that’s high end rather than hair shirt.

We’ll post more updates about our work for Danaya since our work in the ethical consumer sector is becoming a big part of Provokateur’s mission. And if you want to find out more, drop us a line.

Not content with pushing out the boundaries of fair lending and opening up even more branches, Fair Finance has just produced their 'goodie bag' to help spread the word.

With help from Provokateur, the nice folk of East London will be receiving advice cards to help them manage their finances, a natty Fair Finance calculator and some other pretty cool items to help them sort their accounts and keep the loansharks at bay.

As ever, Fair Finance is going where the big banks and dodgy lenders fear to tread. Hooray for them.

Seems stickers are all the rage these days. Here are some Provokateur designed for Fair Finance customers and that are going down a treat. They've got a nice campaigning edge to them as they encourage people to put loan sharks in their place.

Just a quickie project for the folk at Fair Finance. Here are just a few of the new promotional stickers we’ve done for them. We particularly like ’sharks not welcome’, which looks like it might form the new identity for their anti-loan shark campaign. Which is nice to know.
