Earlier this summer, six Elders – Ela Bhatt, Gro Harlem Brundtland, Fernando Henrique Cardoso, Jimmy Carter, Mary Robinson and Desmond Tutu - travelled to Israel and the Palestinian Territories to listen to the people affected by the conflict and to offer our support to all those working for peace. Provokateur produced a report that shares their impressions and findings.

The report shares the stories of Palestinians and Israelis, young and old, affected by the conflict, as well as the thoughts of The Elders.

Provokateur designed the report documenting this visit, featuring diary accounts, colour photographs and key lessons and recommendations from the visit.

You can download a copy of the report here.

As publication draws nearer, Provokateur has created a quirky little animated featurette to show Acme Climate Action in, well, action! Trust us when we say this was a genuine labour of love!

The publication date of Acme Climate Action is now getting closer everyone.

4th Estate have confirmed that we will be printing 25,000 copies for a June launch. And to celebrate, and communicate, and informicate etc, we produced a little film to let the world know what Acme Climate Action is all about.

Hit the play button above to watch the film.

We hope you like, especially since making it nearly burnt down our studio!

We are thrilled to announce that Fourth Estate, part of Harper Collins, will be publishing Provokateur's Acme Climate Action in Spring 2008. This is a uniquely Provokateur enterprise that, as the name suggests, is all about *action*. Doing something. Getting jiggy.

The idea was to produce a book that gets people stuck in. In fact, we want people so stuck in, that by the time they finish the book, nothing is left. That’s why it’s full of posters, postcards, DIY ideas, notebooks, stickers, actions, ideas and inventiveness. It’s a sumptuous little affair and we’re tickled pink that it’s going to be getting out into the Big Wide World. Watch this space for further updates.

Vive Acme Climate Action!
