Provokateur produces Nets Now animation for Christian Aid

With a pile of pens, a stack of paper and heaps of hands-on help, Provokateur has created a new 45 second hand-drawn stop frame animation for Christian Aid’s ‘Nets Now’ campaign.

This long-gestating labour of love gets it’s first public airing from today to coincide with World Mosquito Day on Saturday 20th August and to reinvigorate the ongoing campaign.

Malaria kills a child in Africa every 45 seconds and yet is easily preventable. Chemically treated mosquito nets are one of the most effective ways to tackle the disease and only cost £3. Working with the Christian Aid team, Provokateur created a rather lovely stop frame animation to describe the problem and establish the solution. The animation can be seen above and please be sure to visit the Nets Now campaign site here to find out more and to Send a Net.

Special mention and thanks go to Rosie, Evan, Kieran, all at Open Fundraising and Stuart at Candle for all their help and dedication in making this happen. Truly a labour of love!
